When You Give, Piqua Grows: Fall 2025 Community Grants Making an Impact

In November, The Piqua Community Foundation awarded grants to twenty-two local nonprofit organizations to support programs and projects benefiting the Piqua community. A total of $92,104 was distributed through The Foundation’s semi-annual grantmaking program.

Guided by the belief that “When you share with us, we share with many!”, The Foundation utilizes its community grantmaking fund to support local nonprofits in advancing their missions while fulfilling The Foundation’s purpose of encouraging charitable giving that benefits the citizens of Piqua.

During each grant cycle, local nonprofits are invited to submit proposals for programs or projects, including a detailed description of the anticipated impact on the Piqua community. All applications are carefully reviewed by The Foundation’s Distribution Committee, which is comprised of four board members and three community members. Funding recommendations are then presented to and approved by The Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Each grant cycle brings excitement as we are honored to steward the dollars so generously given by our donors. Seeing those gifts make a true difference through the work of our hardworking nonprofit partners who are creating real impact on the ground is incredibly meaningful.

One organization receiving support this cycle is the Rehabilitation Center for Neurological Development, which was awarded funding for its project, Locking in Safety: Electronic Door Lock. This project includes an upgraded front entrance door that allows the receptionist to control building access with the push of a button, enhancing safety and efficiency for those entering the facility.

Thank you to The Piqua Community Foundation for making this possible. It provides both safety and convenience for all our participants and families!
