The Piqua Rotary Scholarship Fund
About the fund: The Piqua Rotary Club has a proud history of advancing goodwill and peace both locally and globally. Guided by the motto Service Above Self, the club supports various initiatives, including providing scholarships to local students.
The Piqua Rotary Scholarship Fund has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to more than 500 deserving young individuals pursuing higher education. The Piqua Community Foundation now manages the scholarship program on behalf of the Rotary Club, ensuring its legacy continues to make a meaningful impact.
Qualifications: Applicants must plan to attend an institution of higher learning after high school graduation. Applicants must also:
- be a resident of Piqua AND
- be graduating from Piqua High School or Lehman Catholic High School
Decisions will be based on academic excellence, strong leadership, civic responsibility and significant volunteerism.
Award value: Multiple nonrenewable scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded annually. The total number of scholarships is dependent on the current fund value.
