The Murray E. Elsass Scholarship

About the fund: The Murray E. Elsass Scholarship was established by Murray’s daughter to honor the memory of their father. Murray was a lifelong resident of Sidney and ran a successful business in Miami County for over 40 years. Without a college education, he was committed to hard work and determined to succeed. He loved what he did and continued going to the office into his early 90s. This scholarship is awarded to a student who exemplifies the same characteristics as Murray, honoring his work ethic and providing the recipient with the opportunity to continue his legacy through their own achievements.
