
Executive Director
Kalette Hittle joined The Piqua Community Foundation as executive director in January 2024, where she leads efforts to advance charitable giving that benefits the citizens of Piqua while helping donors achieve their philanthropic goals.
A native of Darke County, Kalette is a graduate of Defiance College and Kent State University, holding dual bachelor’s degrees in athletic training and wellness and an associate degree in physical therapist assistant technology. At Defiance College, she was a member of the softball team, serving as a two-year captain and earning both athletic and academic honors.
Her career includes impactful roles, including serving as director of rehabilitation at Genesis Rehabilitation Services, where she focused on business development and building meaningful relationships through direct patient care, and as a faculty member in Sinclair Community College’s physical therapist assistant program, where she helped develop a new curricular track and implemented innovative teaching methods. She also presented her work “Doors Open to the Clinical Setting with 360° Media”, at the 2019 eLearning Conference, a project designed to immerse students in a lifelike clinical environment virtually, overcoming barriers to in-person clinical experiences and enhancing engagement in online learning. Additionally, she has been actively involved in community-focused projects, including the Wheelchair Costume Clinic during APTA Day of Service, where she collaborated with students to create adaptive Halloween costumes for children who rely on wheelchairs for mobility.
Kalette’s career achievements have been recognized with the Ohio Magazine Excellence in Education Award (2018) and the Defiance College Alumni Achievement Award (2025).
Beyond her professional work, Kalette is deeply engaged in her community. She is a volunteer at Tecumseh Woods Swim Club and board member of the Tecumseh Woods Swim Team, volunteers at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and previously served on the Festival Committee and supports numerous events with Piqua City Schools. She is also a member of Progress Piqua, a grassroots service club dedicated to serving the Piqua community.
Kalette and her family have called Piqua home for more than a decade, where she resides with her husband, Jeremie, Treasurer of Piqua City Schools, and their daughter, Kaylie, a junior at Piqua High School.

Executive Assistant
Marciana Auxier joined The Piqua Community Foundation as an executive assistant in March 2026, where she provides administrative and clerical support to the executive director.
Marciana graduated from Sinclair Community College with an associate’s degree in legal studies before continuing her education at the University of Cincinnati, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in law and paralegal studies with a 4.0 GPA. During her time at UC, she was recognized as the Outstanding Student of the Year for the Law and Paralegal Studies program. She is currently a part-time 1L at the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law and serves as managing editor of the ONU Civil Rights Law Journal.
Marciana has extensive experience in customer service and previously worked as an estate planning paralegal, where she drafted estate planning documents and assisted attorneys in serving members of the community.
Outside of her career and education, Marciana enjoys staying active outdoors, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She resides in the Piqua community with her husband, Noah.
